Unboxed Productions is a not-for-profit, locally-based, live, online, streaming theater and event company, which was born out of the darkest days of the pandemic in 2020 when nearly all live theater ceased operating across the planet.
Kim Sandstrom in Florida and Jan Thomas in Indiana, theater geeks since their high school theater days at Goshen High School in Indiana, made it their business to live up to the mantra, “The show must go on!”
The Imaginary Invalid is a three-act comédie-ballet by the French playwright Molière… back in 1673. Well, now it’s available online thanks to Unboxed Productions. The original performances were done live over Zoom in May of this year. Yours truly played Beralde, the brother of the protagonist) in Act III and Doctor #6 in Act IV.
So that’s where the new Danothy picture comes from – I needed a headshot for the show’s program.
