Writers Block Party
This one is not (necessarily) dark and ominous. WBP is where I connect with local authors and artists around the region to talk about their latest work. If you go to a local book fair, art show, or music festival, these are the artists I interview.
Each week I air a new episode, which is available in two versions, the paid version named “Behind the Curtain” and a public version. They’re both the same episode, with a few differences.
Behind the Curtain subscriptions are a great value at only $5 per month. Perks for choosing to go Behind the Curtain include:
- early-release – available on Mondays
- Ad-Free
- The full episode
- New member shout out on the next episode after you join
- Access to bonus material
The public version of each episode is available for free, but without the additional perks. Public versions are available on Fridays, contain ads and are edited for time typically 1/2 hour in length.

Are you tempted to go Behind the Curtain, but not sure about committing to a monthly subscription fee? No problem! There is a 7-day free trial option to let you taste the sweetness of being one of the elite before the subscription kicks in.
Additionally, each Behind the Curtain episode is available to purchase – for those of us (and our mothers) who specifically want to get the full episode(s) which features our favorite artist(s).
And, although you could listen to the podcast without doing so, I ask everyone to please sign up to support the show. There is a “Join for free” button – all it costs is an email address.
Final note: Many of my guests are writers, but the show is open to all artists. Any active member of the creative and artistic community is welcome to come tell their story. Tune in every week for creative conversations, interviews, and behind-the-scenes stories from the world of entertainment. Or, give me a shout and let’s set up a time to talk about your artwork, music, book, play, etc. Come join the party!
Danothy Grimm Tales
The other podcast I’m trying to develop is more about the stories, themselves. Hear actual tales, many from those same local authors featured in Writers Block Party, narrated by me or by the author. And, as the name suggests, these stories tend to lean toward the dark, mysterious, spooky, and just plain weird.
Currently Danothy Grimm Tales is still in the creation stage, but I am offering several stories as bonus material for Writers Block Party subscribers. In an effort to make this a weekly podcast, I am also looking for one or more co-hosts to help with the narration. So, if you love a good spooky story and would like to read a story (or twelve) out loud. Give me a holler. I would love to make this one a weekly show, too.
